Alison’s curiosity of chronic pain opened the door for her to dive deeply into why the brain chooses pain to capture our attention. Listening to many stories of those attending her classes showcased how each person experiences this life in their own unique way.

Growing up inspired by food and nutrition, Alison attended Dubrulle Culinary School as a young adult. Pursuing a cooking career in different settings, while studying nutrition, consistently showed how people relate to food and how our food relates to this planet. She noticed how when people ate better, they felt better.

She now teaches classes and workshops based on her Foundation Training certification, a movement therapy designed for pain. Combining nutrition, neuro-kinetic practices and meeting each person where they are has been a rewarding experience helping many people manage their chronic pain.

Alison continues to research our innate ability to heal while she raises her 3 young boys with integrity and intention on the territory of the Sinixt people. She strives to be their best example of health and vitality.
